Sixth annual awards created by Progress magazine and Best Companies Group includes 27 winners

HALIFAX, May 17, 2012 – T4G Limited has been ranked as the ninth best place to work in Atlantic Canada.

The sixth annual awards are the brainchild of Progress magazine and partner Best Companies Group, a business consulting organization.  

Companies from across the region entered the two-part survey process to determine the Best Places to Work in Atlantic Canada. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an anonymous employee survey to measure the employee experience. This part of the process was worth approximately 75% of the total evaluation.

“We have deep roots in Atlantic Canada. When we opened offices in Saint John more than 10 years ago, we knew it would work. We’re now also in Halifax, Moncton and Fredericton with about 150 employees in the Maritimes.”

“This is the latest momentum-building news we’ve received this spring and we’re delighted,” says T4G President Geoff Flood, himself born and raised in Saint John. “What is so satisfying about this award is that three-quarters of ranking points come from anonymous employee survey, where people can be absolutely honest. I am thrilled our people think so highly of T4G and our culture, but I am not altogether surprised, either.”

Though headquartered in Toronto, T4G’s rapid growth in the Maritimes made it eligible to be considered for the The Best Places to Work in Atlantic Canada competition. “We have deep roots in Atlantic Canada. Last month, T4G was named for the fifth straight year to the annual Best Workplaces in Canada list, cracking the Top Ten for the second year in a row. In the same survey, T4G was also tabbed the 8th best workplace for women in Canada.
