VANCOUVER, October 20, 2011 – Where better to celebrate T4G Limited’s West Coast success and expansion than at COAST, the city’s fresh, vibrant, Made-in-Vancouver restaurant.
T4G, a leading North American full-service, project-based technology services company, is hosting an evening of food and refreshments on October 20th and giving away a very unique door prize – free tech services to a local charity.

Vancouver has certainly proven this in spades. That’s why we’re giving away our services to a local charity in Vancouver picked by the person with the lucky winning door-prize ticket.”
The meet-and-greet event which begins at 4:30 p.m. is open to T4G clients, partners, employees and other invited guests.
This event is a way for T4G to show its appreciation to a city and province that have rewarded us with exciting and enriching opportunities with customers that include Tourism British Columbia, Impark, Coast Mountain Bus Company, Translink and Intrawest.
In addition to great food and refreshments, there will be a demonstration of Storm Cloud, a contextual mobile app designed for skiers, boarders and ski resorts.
“Mobile technology is now capable of providing us with real-time contextualized and personalized services and information,” says Nigel Collett, who heads up T4G’s Vancouver office. “And Storm Cloud is a perfect example of this for finding friends on the hill, telling you which lifts have shorter line ups and a whole lot more.”
Some of the features of Storm Cloud are:
• Weather forecasts and instant alerts when there is fresh powder on the mountain;
• Lineup lengths at various lifts;
• Connects to Facebook and with GPS in the Smartphone can provide instant locations of the user and any friends skiing;
• Immediate connections and locating with Ski Patrol emergency staff;
• Tracking features such as speed and vertical feet skied by each individual skier, boarder and friends.
