Party and silent auction on October 24 at The Canterbury Lounge leading up to the big November performance in Saint John
SAINT JOHN, NB – October 12, 2012 – Our ‘Village People’ need the Saint John community to help them meet their financial commitment to New Brunswick’s MindCare, the province’s only foundation for mental health.
Come out to the Canterbury Lounge at 47 Canterbury Street on Wednesday October 24 at 7 p.m. for an evening of fun with great deals on cool auction items. Cover charge is a mere five bucks.
It’s a prelude to the big performance November 16 at the Saint John Trade and Convention Centre of One Nite Wonders, an “old-style” variety show fundraiser for MindCare New Brunswick.
As part of One Nite Wonders, T4G Limited and partner Innovatia have pledged to raise at least $15,000 for MindCare. It’s a worthy cause and the October 24 evening at The Canterbury Lounge will help towards that goal.
Come meet and mingle with ‘Village People’ stars Mike Alexander (construction worker), David Baxter (biker), Scott Anderson (Indian), Mark Ryan (cowboy), Matt Humphreys (policeman) and Shawn Peterson (soldier).
Auction items include: Wii fit electronics; gift certificates to local stores and pubs, a private box at Harbour Station for a Sea Dogs hockey game, art work and much more.
