T4G's charity drive tops $60,000, up 18 percent

Tough times and employees step up again

TORONTO, December 17, 2008 - Employees at T4G Limited, a leading national provider of project-based technology services, raised record amounts of money for charity during the autumn of 2008.

From coast-to-coast in T4G offices in Vancouver, Toronto, Saint John, Moncton and Halifax, some $30,284.16 was donated. With matching grants from T4G, that means more than $60,000 was raised, primarily for the United Way. Of this amount, $3,500 was also directed to T4G's own charity, Future Focus Foundation to aid children's charities, and $1,000 to Portage, an organization that helps young people deal with addictions. The remaining amount went to the United Way.

"I am proud to work with so many wonderful people," said President Geoff Flood. "This company truly has a social conscience and it starts from the bottom and works all the way up through the organization, now with 230 employees."

"Even with the economic downturn and tough times, T4G employees really stepped up," said Tim Brummell, T4G's head of the Citizen Task Group. "An 18 percent increase over last year is quite remarkable."

In addition to its annual autumn charity drive, T4G has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars over the last four years for Future Focus Foundation, a registered charity that disperses monies to needy organizations that work to help children. T4G has committed to raising the equivalent of 2 percent of its revenue for Future Focus through gala dinners and other fundraising activities.
