T4G’s human-centered approach delivers winning results
When the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation needed a new Wholesale Customer Portal for their wholesale business, they asked T4G to help. Improving their customer experience was top-of-mind. They wanted the website to align with their platform strategy, and operate more efficiently.
Through a series of human-centered design workshops, T4G worked collaboratively with the NSLC IT team, stakeholders and representatives from Agency Stores and Licensee establishments to design a solution that would perfectly suit their needs.
The resulting, innovative new myNSLC Wholesale website has been recognized with a North American industry award. The myNSLC project team was honoured in the Best Technology Innovation category of StateWays Magazine’s Best Practice Awards. StateWays is connected to the Virginia-based National Alcohol Beverage Control Association.
The award recognizes the innovation and success of NSLC’s new wholesale online ordering site. It will be presented in late October at the annual NABCA Administrators Conference in Denver, Colorado, and the project will be profiled in the September/October issue of StateWays Magazine.
Prior to implementation of this platform, bars, licensees and agency stores had to place their orders by phoning the NSLC sales desk or by email or FAX. Orders were then keyed manually into SAP by order desk staff. With this new wholesale site, they now place their orders online on demand through a pc, tablet or mobile device.
Feedback from NSLC’s customers has been overwhelmingly positive. They love the site – it’s more efficient and accurate and tailored to their needs, allowing them to order from NSLC when it is convenient for them.
Congratulations to NSLC!
