T4G is thrilled to announce that for the tenth consecutive year, we have been named a Great Place to Work.

T4G VP Named Chair of the Board of the Halifax Chamber of Commerce

Mark Fraser, T4G’s EVP of Digital Marketing, was sworn in as the Chair of the Board for the Halifax Chamber of Commerce on April 25, 2017 .

“I’m thrilled to be stepping into this role and I’m excited to be a part of some of the good things that are happening,” Mark says. “I’m looking forward to what’s next and adding onto the progress the Chamber has made in recent years.”

Mark has served on the board since 2013.

T4G Innovators Teach Design Thinking to Kids

Yesterday, three members of T4G’s Innovation Lab led a special Design Thinking Crash Course as part of Digital Nova Scotia’s March Break Digital Discovery Camp. Over an hour, they taught the principles of Design Thinking to a dozen children who were part of the camp. The challenge? Design a better dental hygiene device. The kids’ solutions? Absolutely amazing – everything from chocolate flavoured fluoride drops to a flying, teeth cleaning robot.

T4G Does Data Philanthropy

T4Gers will be assisting one of our newest accounts, Aimia, in their annual Data Philanthropy event. On March 21st and 22nd, T4G will join Aimia and other partners from across Canada in Montreal to bring the power of analytics to charitable causes.

Lindsay Brin will join a team of volunteer data scientists with strong analytical acumen, including an ability to work with a variety of different types of data sets, and leverage skills such as data visualization, data mining, statistics, web scraping, GIS, data analysis and project management. The team of Insight consultants will be joined by Ron McKay. This team will help build upon the foundational work of the Data Science team to build out a framework to provide context for the related analysis and insight and include recommendations for day-to-day application.

EnergyDATA Workshop in Halifax

T4G and SMU Ink MOU for a Retail Imagination Lab

T4G and Saint Mary’s University signed a Memorandum Of Understanding this past week indicating intent to collaborate on the new David Sobey Centre for Innovation in Retailing and Services based in Halifax.

As currently envisioned, T4G’s Innovation Lab will be at the centre of this initiative – providing process and resources to help facilitate the development of disruptive new ideas for the retail industry. SMU will provide space, access to retailers through their channels, administration for funding, tools and resources as needed from across a wide span of academic disciplines.
